For my thesis, I chose to develop a Chinese adoption zine with Riso that highlights the challenges faced by both parents and adoptees on their journey together as a family.Having been part of the adoption journey myself, I saw this as a meaningful way to share both my story and my parents’ story about adopting my sister and me. I hope this zine resonates with both adoptees and their parents, allowing them to read and connect.
